What we Believe

Our Mission

Our Mission is to experience God, embrace His people and engage our community. We fulfill this through engaging worship, building community, personal evangelism, individual discipleship, serving our neighbors, and participation in missions.

Core Beliefs

All Scripture is Inspired

We believe the Bible is verbally inspired of God and is the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
  • 2 Timothy 3:15-17
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:13
  • 2 Peter 1:21

One True God

We believe there is one God, who is eternally existent and has revealed Himself in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • Deuteronomy 6:4
  • Isaiah 43:10,11
  • Matthew 28:19
  • Luke 3:22

The Deity of  the Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26),  His miracles (Acts 2:22), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3), His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6), His ascension to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9), and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God (Revelation 19:11-14).

Repentance and Salvation

We believe that through man's first sin, we have been separated from God. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
  • Genesis 1:26,27
  • Genesis 2:17
  • Romans 5:12-19

Divine Healing

We believe Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer, and is the privilege of all believers.
  • Isaiah 53:4,5
  • Matthew 8:16,17
  • James 5:14-16

Sanctification

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by the faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit.
  • Romans 8:13
  • Galatians 2:20
  • Philippians 2:12,13

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it with the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance.
  • Luke 24:49
  • 1 Corinthians 12:1-31
  • Acts 10:44-46

Blessed Hope

We believe in the blessed hope - the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming. We also believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17
  • Romans 8:23
  • Titus 2:13
